STEER CLEAR! I ordered— and paid a small fortune for— an antique law bookcase with leaded glass. What showed up was a pile— literally a PILE— of warped wood and busted leaded glass. It couldn’t be assembled properly because of the warping (note that the description never mentioned the pathetic condition, nor that I’d have to assemble it myself. I’m disgusted. This belongs in the trash. This business is a disgrace.
This is a great antique shop that I came across on Chairish - excellent selection of leather sofas and chairs. Really some of the nicest people who genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. Had a little misunderstanding with a shipper, but the team at Sonty John's were very responsive and professional. I would absolutely buy again from here.
Picked up 2 chairs and transported to Massachusetts.
