Would not recommend Son's Chimney servicing on pellet stoves. We recently had them come out in July to do the annual cleaning and maintenance on our pellet stove insert. What a disappointment when we fired up our stove a couple of weeks ago only to have the smell of smoke in the house. Found that the service person never reconnected the stove properly and the stove was disconnected from the vent pipe and the vent pipe was not even cleaned although I paid for this to be done. I had my chimney inspected and cleaned by Evan from Son's Chimney Services. He was very professional, personable, polite & courteous. He made absolutely sure there was no mess at all. They even offer a senior discount! I would definitely recommend them! Thank you Evan & Son's Chimney Services!

In looking towards having some work done that required a company capable of doing installations of two gas fireplaces, I looked at a company based in Bedford. Unfortunately, they could not meet the simple time frame that was partially due to poor sub-contractors as well as their own inability to have other sub-contractors to turn to. Quickly scheduled, arrived and conducted my courtesy chimney & liner inspection in response to my request for quote. Explained chimnney liners and also advised masonary repairs needed on outside brickwork. Left a quote at inspection, followed by formal written proposal by mail within 2 days.
