Ridiculous time sitting waiting for what I don't know 3hrs for a medical Ridiculous
Attended a coal board medical here- if you can go anywhere else, do! I waited over 75mins for my appointment to even start, all up spent almost 2.5 hours here! My appointment was less than 10mins. No one is in a rush, considerate of anyone's time or even bothers to apologise. As some who has worked in healthcare for over a decade, this is a terrible representation of the industry. The only positive was the doctor was lovely.
As I read back through the comments over the last 2 years it’s clear Sonic Health have no care or concern for their patients. The issues my wife and I have suffered on our medicals for overseas visas are consistent themes and clearly have not been dealt with despite Sonic acknowledgements in responses. Both of us lost over 5 hours for a process that involved three 5 minute interactions with different medical professionals. 30 minutes late for the first appointment time slot of the day. I asked the receptionist if they could please put that in writing at least, via email at their own convenience, so I could show my employer. This was not done.
I thought I was honestly going to be here for hours (reading previous reviews) I was happily surprised how quick I was in and out for a medical assessment. The reception ladies and the nurses worked efficiently and politely and the doctor I seen was so lovely.
