Five years ago when looking for a place for my aunt relocating from Arizona, what drew us to Solstice were the adorable apartments, the caring staff and the immense number of activities and opportunities to keep the residents engaged. Since then, we have had four family members who have lived at Solstice. It is a wonderful, caring and stimulating independent living community that also offers a la carte Homecare services which we have utilized when transitioning from the hospital. Solstice has been a treasure to our family.
Beautiful facility with wonderful staff. Very clean and plenty of activities for the residents. Everyone is very friendly. Mom could not be happier and all her children are delighted it has been such a positive experience.
Sadly,we moved my mom there at the beginning of the year and have since moved her out. The food is poor quality/ dining is incredibly slow and they simply brush off concerns by saying its "family style" dining. They are slow and under staffed. The residents are not inclusive and it is depressing and lonely for single elderly people. We tried to address concerns and we're told it is " independent living" so people basically need to figure it out.
