There were limited facilities in the Madison/Guilford area, so we were ever so relieved and grateful when we discovered Solstice! My aunt needed an independent living facility, and the ENTIRE staff could not have been more inviting, gracious, welcoming, and continuously and selflessly helpful. My brother moved to Solstice at the end of April, he had lost his wife last year and needed to make this move. We have noticed such a marked improvement in his overall health and well being since being here! It is totally due to the staff and the way they treat each resident as a part of their own family. There is a community there that he would not be a part of had he stayed home alone in his house. Ms. Welker, the director of sales and marketing at Solstice, has twice taken members of my family on tours of the facility and selected apartments. Ms. Welker is extremely knowledgeable, and explained the waiting list process and financial aspects to my relatives in a detailed yet easy-to-follow manner. My mother has been living at Solstice for 5 months now and we are all very happy with the decision to move in. The apartment is sunny and well laid out. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy and the setting is beautiful. The staff is friendly and super helpful. My mom loves the food and appreciates the variety of activities. The staff has made the transition to senior living very smooth.
