My 10 year old grandson had never played golf. When he expressed an interest, I was referred to MD Golf Academy. We met with JT and he immediately made Brendan feel comfortable and capable. JT is very encouraging and positive and accentuates all Brendan’s good qualities, while redirecting his weaknesses. He talks to Brendan, explaining and showing him what needs to be improved while constantly letting him know how well he is doing. My son, 14, started lessons with JT back in July and in 4 months has improved dramatically! JT possesses an abundance of knowledge which he is able to communicate without sounding too technical. JT has helped foster my sons love for the game. He has been there to celebrate his successes and supported him through the challenges of the game.
Our daughter just started taking lesson at Sole Gold Academy with Matt and her progress has been extraordinary. She loves going to the lessons. The Academy has great teaching aids and Matt explains everything to her so she understands the instructions he is giving and what she needs to do to improve.
My 14 year old son started training with JT in July - in 4 months he’s gone from a beginner golfer hitting 80-120 yards with a driver to hitting >200 yards. The combination of on-course and simulator training has improved his form, game, knowledge of club selection and overall-understanding of golf. JT has great rapport with my son, making him feel comfortable, confident, and receptive to his coaching. Highly recommend JT and Sole Golf Academy!
