Absolutely adore this store. Raj is a soul to stop and talk with.
This shop doesn't respect their customers time. I used to shop here for every holiday and birthday for my sister, and was happy to support a small business despite the fact that it's way overpriced. A few days before Christmas I checked mall hours and made the 40 minute drive straight from work, arriving 45 minutes before the mall closed. Unfortunately, this store was already closed. The store has some really interesting merchandise that might be hard to find elsewhere, but the markup is astronomical; 300% above the listing price on books, for example. Enjoy the shop, but check online before you buy anything there.
The owners are cheap & overprice their merch probably 200%. I had worked for them in the past & one day I got scolded for telling a customer I could look for something they were interested in in our catalog which I had watched the owner help a customer the same exact way. Got scolded for “waisting” paper towels. Went home early that day & had them calling me harassing me saying I stole his wife’s debit card & spent $200 on it & wanted to know what dumpster I threw it in???
