Abusive, told me to put most of my things into clear plastic bags to store outside (it was raining!) - I just traveled >hour, no sleep >48hrs and they rejected my highly trained assistance animal, called police to remove me from lobby (I was very polite w/them and not yelling) w/ 2 doctors affidavits in hand; DVHotline said "as long as U have documentation" They made me stand outside in the rain for >6hours at sidewalk w/all my belongings, my BP cuff ruined, my medications spilled, my paperwork ruined. This place was a blessing for me during my divorce, they advocated for me in court. I am forever grateful for there support! They helped me find a way out of domestic abuse and addiction just by standing by me when no one else would! These people are good people for the community! I am forever thankful for there support during one of my hardest times of my life! It’s people like this that can make a difference and changing the world one life at a time!

You shouldn’t punish people for being in the situation that they are in… I’ve been abused since February and I was unable to make it to the first intake, and I was told that I specifically cannot ever get any services because of the fact that I did not make it to the intake. That’s what Alexa told me at 8 AM today on 5 August.

Currently living with my ex-husband who used to beat and rate me while we were married. Our Son has become violent over the past couple of years He got us evicted from where we were living at. I have had him move in with his father but I need help finding a place but because I have a job I am getting denied everywhere. Thank you for not having any services for women who work That's great That's awesome thank you

SMDH!! I am under protective custody and my abuser works for the Department of Defense. These people blatantly refused to assist me and my life is in imminate DANGER!! There funding needs to be revoked and this place needs to be closed!! She didn't even tell me that this was a domestic violence Center but wanted to question me! Not protocol at all!!
