I bought a $6,000 Palliser recliner from Sofa World, and after only two years a major 2 inch thick metal part snapped in two — clearly a manufacturing defect. Instead of taking responsibility they tried to gaslight me, saying the retailer has no responsibility and that they were doing me a favour by “negotiating with the supplier.” This is misleading. We worked with Cheryl at Sofa World to find 2 custom orderd Palliser chairs. She helped us find exactly what we wanted and the chairs arrived earlier than expected. Cheryl knows her stuff, is very professional, honest and has a great sense of humor. She went above and beyond to meet our needs. Service delivery was a smooth process. We highly reccomend Cheryl and Sofa World for your furniture needs.
I appreciated dealing with Zach who came off as professional and took the time to explain various options to us. There are a lot of customization available for the various couch including the layout (sectional, corner, sofa bed etc) as well as fabric and color so there is an option for all room sizes.
Unbelievably amazing service! After thinking that my husband and I could bring the couch in ourselves (boy were we wrong) - Sofa World was amazing and got the delivery guys Chris and Tyler to come back after their day and do the tetris / heavy lifting themselves and are we ever glad they did! Also, the guys were SO nice and helpful. I am beyond happy with the couch and the service. So happy we went with Sofa World and not the brick or structube. HAPPY CUSTOMERS :D
If you are looking for a wonderful place to purchase your next sofa, La-Z-Boy or other furnishings, go to this family-owned and run furniture store just across from St. Laurent Shopping Centre on St. Laurent Blvd. The salespeople are never pushy, nor do they crowd you, or follow you around the store.
