This hotel has good bones and is well situated near Chipping Sodbury, on the Cotswolds Way... but it has seen better days. Still, the room we had was comfortable, the bed excellent, everything was clear, good shower. And excellent breakfast. Guy and Ellie were lovely, accommodating and informative hosts.
Stayed here one night whilst walking the Cotswolds Way. Located about 0.5 mile off the trail, it is set back off the busy main road so mitigating any traffic noise. Guy and Ellie have been running it for many years now and offer very comfortable accommodation and a good breakfast including full English if required as well as gluten free options.
Excellent service by the owner couple. Great room, great bed, great breakfast. Easy late check-in. Thanks for the pleasant stay. I would definitly stay again with my family the next time I'm around the area.
Stayed at The Sodbury House Hotel whilst walking the Cotswold Way.||Large room with ensuite bathroom. Shower over bath, really nice having a bath after a day’s walking. ||Delicious breakfast ||Friendly helpful owners who booked us a table at the nearby Dog Inn for dinner. ||There's lots of parking if you travel by car.
