Had an amazing time. They had extra layers to add to orotect drom the cold. Bikes are easy to ride with hydraulic brakes.
We booked the White Pass Yukon Route Train and Bike Tour, and it was awesome. Booking with Sockeye made it easy, they brought us right to the train, met us at the end of the route, and we set out on our adventure. The train views are amazing, and steep! The biking is so much fun and fast paced coasting down the mountains. You could smell the pine in the fresh air and Jake gave us historical info on our stops along the way. The best way to experience Skagway is through Sockeye Cycle! We took the White Pass &Yukon Route Railway to the summit in Canada. The scenery was phenomenal and the train nostalgic. From there we rode bikes down the hill, back to town. It was so much fun! Our guide Nick was protective and informative, making sure we were safe along the road and giving us the backstory of stops along the way. If you want to explore beyond the town and feel the wind in your hair, do this! We don’t regret it!
