Can't recommend enough. Good selection of road bikes. Got a nice Ti Seven for a coast cruise. Bike was set up and I was out in 15 minutes. Reasonable prices too.
Best mile repair shop
I recently flew from Connecticut to Carlsbad to visit with family and hopefully rent a bike and travel up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. In advance of my trip, I talked to many bike stores but thankfully I rent a beautiful 62cm bike from SoCal Bike. The owners of the store, Lindsey and Jim were FANTASTIC. They were so nice and accomodating and they had numerous top end bikes in stock. I am usually pretty picky about bike shops but these people were terrific. Very poor customer service. Woman who worked there barely acknowledged us when we came to rent a bike. The rental bike I tried had a loose front wheel and if I hadn't noticed it could have been dangerous. Bike rusty and not well maintained and then she quoted me higher rate than on website. Very bad experience...
I want to share my experience; the service was excellent. They treated me very well and were very kind. My bicycle is an old Huffy cruiser, and it had problems with the tires, chain, etc. They told me it might take a while because of all the issues, but incredibly, they called me the next day to say it was ready. They even helped me find other problems, which I really appreciate. This is the kind of service I was looking for, and I highly recommend them. I'm sure that when I need to replace my bike, I'll go with them again.
