Summer means soba time. Also grill fish good too. No longer soba crackers. But good to see loyal servers with long tenure. Tall senior Japanese receptionist... We kindly told the hostess that we were waiting before a family and they refused to seat us after we were waiting patiently.

Simple and refreshing soba set that’s perfect for summer. This spot specializes in soba noodles, so I decided to try one of their summer set menus. It was busy during lunch. I ordered the small-sized set, which came with cold soba and a katsu rice bowl. The cold soba was light, refreshing, and really hit the spot on a warm day. The portion was filling enough for a small set and the combo worked well together overall. A nice seasonal option if you’re looking for something lighter during the summer.
