MEAA has been a positive experience for both my teens. Heather King is an active Head of School who deeply cares about each student. Teachers are knowledgeable, professional, and supportive of all learners. MEAA is the best choice for your student for Arts, Academics and personal growth.
Amazing school. Such a welcoming and supportive environment. My daughter is in 7th grade and still enjoys going to school which is such a blessing. She has made good connections with her teachers and the faculty at Maine Arts Academy. She has also made some great connections with peers. Couldn’t ask for a more positive middle school experience. Highly recommend MEAA!!
My child has been enjoying her experience at MEAA. She was very hesitant to try a new school because she is shy and has a hard time talking to new people, but by week 2, she had so many new friends. She is very much loving the dance, theater and chorus programs, forming good relationships with her teachers. I love this school I have been going to it for almost 4 years but I have loved the school since I started going There has been so many opportunities that I've gotten to do that, I would never have been able to do in a public school standpoint That the school has pushed me to do because they want to see as all succeed and become a really good artist, or musician or dancer Once they graduate , they have helped me realize that after I graduate I want to be a writer.
This school is truly an amazing high school because it has given me opportunities and friendships that I would never have experienced anywhere else. I have met people from different backgrounds and formed friendships that I honestly don’t think would have happened if I hadn’t come here. Over time, these connections have helped me feel more comfortable, supported, and accepted in the school community.
