Melissa and her team are the best in the business. They helped my mom after the sudden passing of her husband navigate the daunting task of downsizing and moving into an independent retirement community in Raleigh. My goodness!!! This was a big move for us. We “transitioned” to a town house next to our son and daughter in law. No, we did not downsize and I was quite nervous about resettling into a new larger space. The whole process was indeed smooth, despite the issues created by our friend who was moving into senior living and struggling with moderate dementia. The entire team was professional and flexible and kept the move on schedule. Armoni in particular did a magnificent job. The end result was an apartment that was comfortably furnished and a close replica of home. The attention to detail was only surpassed by the team’s empathy. In late 2024, my sisters and I enlisted the assistance of Smooth Transitions to help our mom transition from her 4-bedroom, two-story home of 50 years to an one-bedroom apartment in a nearby independent living community for seniors.
