Smooth Transitions was so easy to work with and did an amazing job moving my client from one section of her retirement community to the more skilled side. They were able to do it a way that made the new apartment feel so much like the old apartment that she immediately felt at home when she walked in the new space. Amazing, professional, and compassionate folks. They tackled a severely cluttered apartment for a friend who had moved into a memory care facility. On site they were incredibly fast, as well as friendly and professional. Along the way they helped me with decisions about what to save, what to sell or donate, and what to trash. If I could give 20 stars I would. Smooth Transitions were just that. Melissa and Drema worked with my mom to guide the sorting, planning and packing for moving a lifetime from a 3 bedroom home to a 1 bedroom apartment, over the past six weeks. Moving day was today; they were reassuring and made my mom feel comfortable with all her choices, the movers were kind and caring too. I recently moved from North Carolina to Maryland and Smooth Transitions made it all possible for me. The move coordinators planned everything, put together a floor plan of furniture placement for my new place, and packed everything with great care and organization. They oversaw the loading of the moving truck so I could get an early travel start in my car. They worked closely with a similar company here in Maryland who unpacked me. It was wonderful working with them!
