Oh my... Just stay away. These guys came out to our business to install new fiberoptic lines and cut directly through our existing cable internet lines, then proceeded to cover it back up and not tell us. They never even came in the office or sent out a notice to let us know that they would be working or what they were doing. Comcast hired a company (TAK) to drop a communications line. TAK subcontracted the work to Smoky Mountain Utility Services. Smoky Mountain Utilities dug a hole in my yard while running the line and damaged my irrigation system. After discussing the issue with Comcast, I was ultimately directed to the owner of Smoky Mountain for reimbursement for the repairs. After being told to send an email to Smoky Mountain Utilities with the invoice, there was no response. I finally reached out to the owner, Brent, who responded very rude... read more
