One of my favorite BBQ restaurant's. Try it I like the salads or just the BBQ plate.
Love the barbeque. The deserts are good. Fried green tomatoes are good. Friendly staff.

We normally frequent this restaurant about once or twice a month. However I without a doubt will not be returning or suggesting it to anyone else. We recently visited with a group of friends who have never been. The staff was some what friendly but I found if they don't know you by face or name you don't get the free perks , for instance the bread and greens that every table around us received as a token of gratitude for being there . We prepare 30 lbs of collards every Friday evening. These collards are for each customer that requests them to show our appreciation to all our customers. We emphasize to our waitresses to offer them to all of our guests. Unfortunately, sometimes they do not. The smoking pig made my wedding day perfect . Our guests couldn't say enough about the food . Most don't really eat a big plate but they went back for seconds!! The garlic mash potatoes are to die for...I took our wedding party the night before to try all the wonderful food and it was a hit!! I plan on using them again for other occasions! !

Smokin Pig bbq is awesome. I live 45 miles away but still find time to ride my motorcycle up to Bowdon to eat there. Food is awesome, plentiful and service is hometown friendly. Love the "locals" who eat there as well. Will be back again soon!
