OMG ...the entire staff and especially Dr. Dondiego we're white glove service all the way!! We were vacationing from Chicago and my 12yr. old daughter couldn't remove her corrective overnight hard lenses because her eye plunger tool broke. We didn't have an appointment and happened upon Smithtown Optical. I explained our predicament and even though they didn't have the tool or appointment, Dr. Dondiego offered to see us before his next client came in. Just received a yearly first time visit with Dr. Dondiego. I advise not to look any further. This is a true review. I have been going to a popular respected doctor who recently merged with another office. Unfortunately, i was dissatisfied with front staff and getting timely prescriptions. It has turned into one of those mills. I Requested 2x and waited over four months never receiving the prescription to get the glasses!
