Buyer beware!! He’ll take your money and you’ll never hear anything again. Your only recourse will be to contact your credit card company. Read the other recent reviews and you’ll see a clear pattern of what is going on. It’s really a shame scammers like this can still operate.
Update…… June 14 2024 Still no communication from Smithfly about the refund they agreed to in email communication back in June of 2023. This is down right sad. I purchased little shoals mid December 2023 & wasn’t aware of any delays when Ethan did the invoice for the boat. I reached out to Ethan last month when It was supposed to be done. He did respond with his problems & I tried to get anything in return for the deposit of $2700.00 like a frame, ect. But I tried to organize something, but I didn’t receive anything or any real assistance. I eventually called my Bank of America credit card & they refused my money. Excellent store for unconventional boats on the water and all the accessories for them
My buddy and I went in on a little shoals raft in September 2023. It is now March 2024, and after tireless efforts to get our raft or money, we still have NOTHING. I want to feel bad for a small American business going under, but can't in this situation. SmithFly / Ethan made EGREGIOUS mistakes, and here is an outline of the them: #1 Their website was (and still is) accepting orders.
