Smith Village sent a repair person out to do fix a warranty issue with a $550 wall recliner I bought in June, 2022 when I noticed the padding was collapsing on one side and causing the seat to lean and cause discomfort. We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your recliner. In January of 2023 a technician completed an in-home inspection of your chair and found no spring or structural defect in your chair. He did note some shifting of padding to the right side and replaced the seat foam core and foam topper at no charge. We have not received any communication from you since the replacement indicating you were not pleased with the work completed. Great place to buy furniture. Always had good furniture dealings with them very helpful employees.better than online box stores which provide No help. Love their prices and delivery set up people.love selection of furniture.
They are shady, disrespectful people who don't care about their employees & willingly place them in harm's way throughout the pandemic !! They forced their employees to enter houses & retirement communities, which are hot beds for Covid, against CDC mandates & did the absolute bare minimum to keep within regulations. Nevermind that one of their employees almost died from being exposed in a customer's house who was immunocompromised & did nothing to mitigate the illness from being passed on to others.
