Wouldn't recommend for conveyancing. My original estimate was a total of £1200, a few days before completion I was informed that my new total was £2300 (both totals including what I'd paid for searches). I was never verbally told about 99% of these extra charges being added and it was mostly hidden in complicated paperwork. I was also charged twice for ID checks, as I'd paid for these months prior to completion. Never called back. Twice I called and was promised a call back yet nothing. Time wasters. If you can't trust a solicitors to call back why would you trust them with anything.
I have dealt with Smith and Graham previously, and they were great, so when I needed help again, they were my first port of call. Victoria has been fantastic, professional, friendly and always available when I have needed help. Would rate this company as first class.
The worst experience I have ever had with a Conveyancers. The manger of the team left me high and dry, just as my house was about to go through to completion Cold and calculated. No empathy. Even though I got all the relevant documents they had asked for. I will leave him to God.
Really poor communication, delayed completion date on the sale of my house. No attempt to discuss documents or jargon in plain English. Complaint raised, zero attempt to address this. Avoid.
