Christian Smith's advice was invaluable during the Will and Trust process. He answered all of our questions with easy to understand explanations and offered suggestions as warranted. He promptly responded to emails and was always available for calls when needed. His knowledge and easy demeanor made it a pleasure to work with him.
I have only had an initial consultation with Christian so far, but he has made it apparent that he is going to make this process as smooth as possible. I am setting up a Trust for my parents and I anticipate that I will be using Christian to set up my own Trust for my children!
I never write negative reviews - but this one is absolutely warranted. After a significant period of working on the estate planning document he sent to us to complete as part of our coverage under Metlife Legal Insurance, Christian emailed that we had never "retained his firm" and that our trust was too complex to support under the legal insurance. I practiced law for 20 years, so I have a good idea of what makes an honest lawyer (so rare these days)! After wasting time and money parsing through one charlatan after another, I stumbled upon Christian—a man coming to his mission with great heart and purpose. Christian was patient, communicative and exceptionally helpful when it came to my Mom's Estate Planning. He charged very reasonable rates, too! I can't recommend him highly enough.
