I could not have had better service today, Friday. A wonderful woman ( not the owner) was in there today and was extremely helpful and tolerant of my changes of mind.I bought a dress and trousers. I will be shopping there again.
Drove from Nelson to Motueka to SMILE Clothing but found it was closed despite saying it was open on the website. No sign on the door, some items of clothing were lying on the floor just inside the front door in a mess as if it had been burgled. Phoned shop number, left message hoping perhaps the owner was at lunch but no phone call was returned. I thought it was unprofessional. I love the items I have bought from Smile Clothing over the years. Great designs and lovely fabrics - thank you. Unfortunately the last two times I have been in the shop in Motueka looking at garments with every intention to buy something the sales assistant has been a late middle-aged man. Both times he has been rude and sufficiently unpleasant to cause me to walk out of the shop shaken by his manner without making a purchase.
