I have used SmartSitting a few times over the last couple years when traveling to NYC. I recommend you do not book this service. They have issues with no-show sitters, very poor management of problems when they occur, no emergency number if something happens during off-hours with a sitter, and a policy of believing the sitter over the client. Smartsitting is a wonderful organization. They are extremely reliable and do an amazing job at placing you with great families. I have had nothing short of an excellent experience working for them. There are no gimmicks and they provide stellar communication to make sure that all parties are always on the same page.
