So far I am very pleased with the device and installers. Smart start’s pricing is lower than other interlock providers and the equipment is easier to use. However, the girl that signed me up wasn’t clear about installation fees and I had to come up with $200 I wasn’t expecting. Even with the disappointment I would still recommend smart start over other providers.
As much as I am embarrassed to say this, I was required to have an ignition interlock installation following a DUI. McKenzie Mechanics, made this process pain free! It did take about 90 mins or so, and of course I brought my 3 yr old along. Upon entering, the secretary greeted us with a smile, and got me started on my paperwork right away, (Not to mention I was 20 minutes late, and they were still able to do my install).
