My experience with Smart Start has been terrible from the very first installation. The authorized shop that installed my system did a horrible job. I asked the shop to correct it, and they refused. When I contacted Smart Start, I was initially told their authorized dealers don't do work like that. I sent Smart Start photos showing exactly how the installation had been done. After seeing the pictures, they had to acknowledge the problem, contact the shop, and have me return so the system could be redone. That required MY time... read more

If you want to end up being violated on your probation use this company. Worst customer service ever, won’t calibrate your device half the time so they can charge you extra, and won’t communicate with your PO. Fortunately the judge over my case had as many issues with them that he granted me permission to get rid of my device early. They are a true criminal organization.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! Your customer service is the worst of any company I’ve ever worked with in my entire life. I will make sure I tell everyone I can at every opportunity to not use you or your product. Once they get you on the line they store your number. You’ll never get another real person on the line again. Their text help on the website doesn’t work. Forced to call. If you let someone install a device in a car you own, be prepared to never have use of it again. Even if they don’t pay, they will hold your vehicle hostage until their client releases it (Pays). You may as well decide you are going to pay for it yourself. The call trees are insane and I’ve been hung up on multiple times.
