I got an auto loan with this credit union early in 2024. I never made a payment late and in fact, I was paid ahead by the maximum three months that they allow and had been since shortly after I got the loan. Last month, they decided I didn't have insurance even though I have had it all along and have never had a lapse in my driving life. The reason why I removed a star is because I had a current car loan and wanted to have a fixed rate rather than an adjustable rate, and I was charged a $250 to change it to a fixed rate. I thought that was unfair and shouldn’t be charged for it as I already had a current loan.
