If a review could be in negative numbers mine would be. Recommend NOT buying from Slumberland in Red Wing. We have had three deliveries of furniture over the years from them and all three have resulted in damage to our home. The latest is an 18" gouge in my cherry floor from a bed delivery. When the delivery folks (with four weeks on the job) removed my old mattress, they folded a king sized mattress, jammed it in the bedroom doorway, then pushed it out of the room with great force, causing the damage. I recently purchased a sofa sleeper from Slumberland in Quincy. I was so disappointed when the delivery people were unable to get it through a door because the sofa was too large. However, the manager Rick offered to come back and try again. Rick, Nathan (the sales person) and another experienced mover were able to think outside the box, and my new sofa is now sitting in my family room. I so appreciate their effort, persistence and hard work!! And I love my new sofa sleeper. Thank you, guys!

George called to handle our couch issue, where 3 couches have been delivered damaged. I have taken 3 days of vacation for delivery and explained the issues I have had with each couch. They also told us 2-4 week delivery mind you this was in November of 2204 and did not receive our couches until January. Almost August now 15% discount was offered after taking off 3 days of vacation. George cut me off halfway through what we have gone through and said he was talking now and he will arrange the pickup of the furniture. Terrible... read more
