I've been a homeowner for 40 years and never had a problem with any mortgage company until SLS took over my loan. The first thing they did was threaten to force expensive insurance coverage onto me, even though I have an HOA master policy plus my own condo policy protecting the property (and thus the loan), and these policies have been paid annually for many years. This company reeks of incompetence, maybe worse when it comes to its attempts to force unneeded insurance on its clients. I wouldn't give them one star.
