Tom is a great lawyer. I am not and was never related to him and I can't help but notice that Courtney Welty has opened accounts all over the place just to trash this one attorney. Not sure what she does for a living where she comes in contact with so many lawyers, but you would think that she would have chosen a different attorney after the initial consultation where she claimed he was so terrible?? Mr. Slorby provides superb legal services to clients all over the state of North Dakota, though his primary focus is criminal and family law. Anyone who has experience dealing with the court knows that things move very slowly and the rate at which the case moves through the system is not a reflection on the lawyer's experience or expertise. This guy is- flat out- an artist. Brilliant job.
Tom is a highly skilled highly experienced attorney. If you want a cheap lawyer go elsewhere. If you want one of the best in town then he's your guy. Yes sometimes it took Tom a while to return my calls, but that was because he didn't have any updates for me, because he was waiting to hear back from the courthouse. Not his fault. Nothing is off about him the people down here leaving poor reviews are probably meth cooks who got a plea deal had to serve a couple months but in their mind they should never have gone to jail even... read more
I must say that I am shocked to read these poor reviews! This lawyer handled my case as quickly as the court would and I was NEVER hounded for money as I always paid on time. Considering all, I believe him to be a very good lawyer. Patience is key when dealing with any matter that goes through more than 1 party to be fully resolved!
Like most lawyers, you must be patient. Your case will not update every day, so you can't expect an update every minute. Slorby Law Office does not have a consultation fee, however if you want paperwork filed on your behalf, then you have to pay for that (because the courts charge for that...and that isn't what your lawyer gets paid). Stay away from Slorby! This guy never returns calls and something about him is just "off." Talks a lot without saying anything, A real BS artist.
totally agree, this lawyer only out for himself, not worth a penny for his thoughts! many true, honest ones to choose from, stay away!
I would not recommend this slimey lawyer....unless you are crooked too.
