The people here are great, I believe it's a family-owned business. Unfortunately like most family-owned businesses it's going the way of the dinosaur. Seems as if the big box chain stores are putting it out of business. They're very nice people and their service was outstanding. I'm sad to say this review probably will not mean anything, if I expect them to shudder the doors shortly.
This is truly an old time lumber yard. A bunch of ramshackle buildings containing different types of lumber. It is your typical counter man lumber store where you order at the counter. They do have a fairly well equipped showroom. They do have some of the best trim lumber as well as 1Xs of pine poplar and other woods you will not find at your big box stores.
My go to lumber yard. They are great to deal with. Quality products and a great staff.
