******SHAME ON YOU SLICK CITY****** My 8-year-old daughter, diagnosed with celiac disease and type 1 diabetes at 18 months, was invited to a friend’s birthday party at Slick City in Plano, TX. Prior to the party, I learned that Slick City doesn’t offer gluten-free food options, a dietary requirement for those living with Celiac Disease. Making someone pay $50 because they HAVE to bring in their own food for ONE child because that child has celiac disease is insane!!! Either other gluten free food or waive that fee!
