Horrible customer service. Predatory sales tactics and scammy return policy. Save yourself thousands of dollars and weeks of headaches by going with any other company.
Went to sleep number spent $6000 on a bed and paid for the ultimate delivery meaning they would move my tempurpedic and power base to my daughter's room. When the guys showed up they pushed the existing bed to the side and said they do not move competitors bases. This was fully discussed upon purchase and thats why they charged me more, happy to pay for service. I called the sleep number HQ and customer service wasnt even aware of this "policy". Great experience working with Tom Schneider at the Sleep Number store in Ridgedale. He answered all of questions, helped us understand our options, did not try to oversell - in fact advised us a few times that we did not need to purchase more expensive model beds to achieve what we were looking for. We are looking forward to our new bed arrival and setup later this week. Thank you Tom and Sleep Number!
My wife and I find the bed very uncomfortable. I don’t fault sleep number for that. Mattresses are a personal preference and this wasn’t a good fit. The problem is their return policy. They hype the return policy as 100 days but in the fine print, they don’t take back the mattress base. In our case that was over $2,000. Additionally, they won’t allow you to return the bed yourself and charge $250 to pick it up. Our 100 days guarantee cost us nearly $3,000. The only explanation given was that it’s in the contract. Horrible customer service! They've screwed up our account & have NEVER tried to fix it EDIT: They said it had nothing to do with their location but it does because I told the salesman that this had happened in the past & he assured me over & over that if we purchased the bed, he would PERSONALLY make sure that this didn't happen again. We have NO access to our own bed. Who's going to fix this?????
