I’ve been a Sleep Number customer for at least 15 years and have owned two beds. Our last purchase—a fully adjustable split-king bed—was a major investment at nearly $8,000. Eight years later, it did not hold up well. The mattress uses magnets sewn into the underside to keep it aligned on the adjustable frame. Over time, those magnets tore away from the mattress, causing it to slide sideways and hang over the edge of the frame.
