Date night started off wonderfully thanks to the amazing hostess at the front. She greeted us warmly, was incredibly polite, and handled a very busy Friday night with ease. Despite the crowd, she quickly assessed the room, found us a spot, and had our table cleaned and ready right on time, exactly as she said. After a day of skiing at Lakeridge, our group of five stopped by Slabtown for what we called our “après-ski” time and it was a great choice. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was consistently attentive, and the music set a great vibe. Most importantly, the food and drinks were excellent. My husband and I went out for dinner here with our niece and nephew-in-love on March 15th, 2026. The food was fantastic. Teresa was our server and she was terrific. We look forward to our next time there! :)
It’s hard enough finding a place with balanced ciders, but this one also makes one of the best flatbreads I’ve ever had. Service was excellent, place is cozy and I’m hoping next time I’ll catch live music too. And to top it off it’s not too far from GTA, so make sure to come.
