This is such a fun little gem in our town - whether you are visiting with girlfriends, kids or a date night! They have yummy frozen cider options in the summer, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has lots of options - from starters to salads, handhelds and entrees. Their kids pizza is my daughter’s favourite!
Amazing place to hang out
We have tried to walk-in as driving past 3 times. Must have a reservation even if the place is empty. We asked if we could sit in one of the empty tables and were told that we needed a bigger group, a section was not open etc. So many excuses and the place is huge and they also have a time limit on how long you can stay (even when empty). On one visit we were allowed to sit in a far corner with no-one around and they had NONE of their listed beers. Also, asking for a phone number to sit down for your database is not cool. Update: This review was previously 1 star, but was resolved with management and we were satisfied with how this was handled! Thank you. We went to Slabtown for Thanksgiving dinner with a reservation. We are regulars here and also frequent the cider store, but this was the worst experience we’ve had. I have a severe dairy allergy. When ordering my burger, I explained this clearly. The server said no problem and they’d make it without cheese. Later she returned to say the bun had butter and they’d serve it in lettuce. I asked ... read more
This was an unexpected find. Was in the area at a local farm and wanted to explore a bit more. I am a fan of hard ciders and this was a revelation. Apple ginger cider where you can actually taste the ginger? Absolutely. I was there with two others and we all had flights, tried pretty much all they had at the time and all were incredible. Service and food were great as well. I look forward to going back!
