I am a graduate student at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. Flying unmanned aerial vehicles have proven extremely beneficial in understanding ecosystems and species as they pertain to conservation. My summer internship and masters thesis focuses on using these technologies to create precise models of rainforests in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. My company, orignovel llc, has partnered with Skyport Drones many times doing clever promotions and capturing adventure events in action. W.C. is fantastic to work with. And personally, we used them to visually enhance a property listing with drone video and imagery that cannot be matched by traditional photos.
