My Brother Michael loves it here at SKLD in Whitehall. He is currently here along with Hospice enjoying his time He has day by day. Michael 53 years old has a rare aggressive Lymphoma cancer with no immune system to fight anything. SKLD in Whitehall has been very understanding and supportive by wearing masks and keeping his door closed behind them at all times to help in keeping Michael germ free as much as they can. You have some people there that really care and take care of their people well. Got the privilege to get to know awesome caring folks.
This facility had covid and accepted my family member into their facility without informing us. We had no idea they were dealing with a covid outbreak and would have picked a different facility if that was the case. They also fed a diabetic patient cake, ice cream, and orange juice instead of placing them on a diabetic diet. So far my experience with this facility has been terrible and I am very unhappy.
Really a great place for your loved ones, staff care deeply about the residents and treat them like family.
