I don’t have any experience but I haven’t heard good things.
Skipworth Tax has been doing my taxes for years and never have I been disappointed. He also does my Daughters and she is very pleased with their work also !
Filed our taxes on Feb.27th and a week later let them know that the lady that helped file our tax had put my SS# wrong. They said it was not an issue and it was correct in the computer. I received a letter from the IRS today.. It stated that someone filed taxes trying to use my name & that I need to verify who I am in order to correct it. It also states once I get this issue cleared that it could take another 9 weeks to get my check from them. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever experienced. The owner Ben skipworth messaged my wife on her Facebook and tried inappropriate things. He needs to be reported. As for my taxes? They overcharge. Very expensive!
I had a very bad experience with Skipworth. Not only were they very unprofessional, i felt like they didnt do as good of job as they should have. I was quoted two different prices twice. I asked for my w2s back and they wouldnt give them to me without me paying $30. The owner was very rude as well. I will never go back there and wouldnt refer anyone there. Customer service goes a long way and thats something they didnt have.
I"ve been dealing with this service since i moved to the shoals area. Each year the service has gotten better and better. Im a very satified customer.
