I’ve tried multiple different treatments at Skin and have loved every one! I started with facials, specifically the Skin Dew and the Skin Re-up -both were 10/10 left glowinggg I also went for my first ever massage as a birthday gift to myself- the 60 min Body Ritual. Today, I received the Hammam Ritual, and it was life-changing. I walked out of that space feeling like a new person. I didn’t even want to leave. Kelsey was amazing. So sweet, clear in her explanations, gentle yet thorough, and incredibly attentive throughout the service. She checked in with me, made me feel safe and relaxed, and created the most peaceful atmosphere. My skin felt so soft afterward, and I truly felt cared for. SKIN is what Richmond has desperately needed for so long. A wonderful oasis in the heart of the city for the most amazing day spay (and many more services) experience. I enjoyed the Hamam Ritual and it was fantastic, Reese and the crew at SKIN know just how to provide healing, relaxing and rejuvenation to your mind and body...do not miss any opportunity to experience the service and services at SKIN.
TLDR: way too expensive for what you receive; 22% required gratuity should be built into the pricing rather than on the client. It’s not a tip if it’s required. Terrible music choice for the session areas, overlapping with top40 songs in front of house. Was gifted a facial by my boss and really wanted to enjoy it because I’d been curious for a while. I just had an amazing experience at Skin by HC! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere made me feel comfortable. I booked the "Skin Gym" facial, and it was truly one of the best I've ever had. Kelsey, who did my facial, was super friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better.
