Unfortunately, Skeeter's will be closing on April 30th, 2024. The store, the toys & the owner were & are awesome. I wish him the best in the next adventure/chapters of his life. ☘️
This store is truly amazing! It's well-stocked with unique and hard-to-find toys and games for all ages, and the owner is knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for his customers. I was looking for a rare toy for a Christmas present and stopped in Skeeter's Toy Box. The owner, Dave, put one on order for me, and it arrived in just a few days! It's such a wonderful experience to shop in such a welcoming, well-run store. I encourage everyone to check out this Awesome toy store when visiting Putnam, CT. Shop Local!!
I love this store! I am a huge Lego nut and there is a nice assortment in this store. I would go on my lunch to browse and talk with the owner. I have made a few purchases and would like to continue to make purchases here in the future.
