We went in yesterday to get e new pair of walking shoes and were confronted with an extensive array of shoes that were all fit for purpose. I thought I needed to revisit my size and the (female) shop assistant could not have been more helpful. She was knowledgeable and attentive and even though we didn't end up buying anything, she was still all smiles and we were all better off for the experience. Very positive!

I walked into Skechers with one mission! Upgrade my loyal, absolutely exhausted pair of Go Walk 7s. Apparently, time moves fast in the shoe world because I was informed the have already moved on to the Go Walk 8s. Progress, right? Well, sort of. Turns out they do not make the 8s with laces anymore only the slip-ons with pretend laces. Top it off, they did not even have my size or color in stock. Disaster loomed. Enter Amelie. Don’t do it!!! It’s not worth the hassle! UPDATE: Thank you store manager for replying saying you will speak to the team. It’s great you’re going to speak to your team, any chance you can help resolve the error your staff made. Any chance you can organise returning my $130 you’ve had for 5 months for a pair of $40 slippers I need to pay for a satchel to teturn your mistake before refund will be processed. The shop assistant was very patient and helpful. I had some problems finding my size, she was just patiently (with a smile) letting me try different pairs and made recommendations till I got the right pairs.
