I went in to purchase shoes, we started at the level 2 store, which was very busy so we decided to try the level 1 store. Level 1 only had 1 person roaming and 2 employees. One young staff member was a little helpful, comparing to previous years, they're no longer as helpful as before. I mentioned the shoe was slipping at the heal and I was told, it'll be fine after I've worn it for some time. I have to share I went today with my daughter to purchase some shoes for her birthday but we found ourselves trying both stores even upstairs and down with no one there to help us!! We understand being busy but really where are the staff at?? Loosing customers worrying about labour instead is ridiculous.
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at the Skechers store on the ground floor. The staff member who assisted me clearly did not seem interested in being there. Her attitude was rude, unwelcoming, and lacking even basic courtesy. It made for a very unpleasant shopping experience and fell well below the standard I would expect from a reputable brand like Skechers. Guy behind the counter could not have been less interested in making a sale today. He was folding clothes when we approached him and so rude when i asked if he could check for a kids size 11. Came back told me no they didnt have the size and so i asked 'Oh which styles would you have a size 11 in?' To which he told me 'Theres 300 shoes out the back. Its all subjective.' Will not be returning to another Sketchers for a while if thats the customer service experience!!
