The event planners were great with check in times. I do wish the skate helper rental (aka training wheels) could be free or a lower cost. Not everyone has skated before. As someone who spent $300 for 10 kids. Asking me to cover $6 per kid for the skate helpers was a bit much. Everyone should just be able to learn and have fun. Look into that policy, please.
I forgot how fun it is to rollerskate but unlike riding a bike, warm up lessons were necessary, to re-acclamate. I certainly intend to practice more. Great fun.
Skateland Mesa has a great vibe! The music, skaters, and rink itself. My 12 year old Nephew told me even though he doesn't know the songs too much he likes the Beats. They played music that was mostly 20 plus years old. As far as skating they allow you to skate forwards and backwards at the same time.
You cannot fly, but you can experience speeds using the power of your own two feet to propel yourself! Experience the technology of one hundred years ago to become the superhero you were always meant to be!
I’ve been coming to Skateland Mesa for a while, but my experience last week was honestly so disappointing. I’m used to the other two DJs actually being on the floor, doing mini games, specials, and fun light effects that make public skate exciting. This DJ mostly stayed in the booth playing random girl pop, and the whole session felt bland. I’m definitely used to the other DJs’ fun 2000s–2010s vibe.
