Buyer beware.. First off, I’m a huge fan of Powell Peralta skateboards. But they do need to improve their customer service and make their return policies more transparent to their customers. I purchased a board from Skate One as a birthday present to myself. It turned out that my wife had the same idea and purchased me the same board, so I had to return one. I was the person he spoke with on the phone. When he informed me of the return for refund, I instructed him on how to return it and that he should check our return policy as we would be removing the cost of shipping from the refund. He acknowledged he was unaware of that and he did not read our policies. When asked how much it would be I checked and estimated it to be around $15.00. He did seem a little surprised on the amount, so I tried to explain the cost of shipping a deck and that he can check since he would be sending ... read more
