Have been with Kathryn for manyyyy years. I am terrible w all things tax- related and she is a total lifesaver and the nicest person ever.
All of the old positive reviews are from people who have been dealing with only the creator of the company for over 2 decades. In recent years, she has become inaccessible and the company's service quality has declined drastically, while their fees have increased astronomically. My bank accounts suffered from fraud after they experienced a security breech and they did nothing to apologize or make up for it. I’ve had my taxes done by Shelly for about 30 years. She is always up to date on tax changes and generally reminds us each year about things to consider for the coming year. We think SJ Associates is great!
I have been using Shelly for tax preparation for about 25 years and you can't find anyone more caring, knowledgeable, and accommodating.Her staff has been great as well. When I moved to California 20 years ago I would not use anyone else and either flew to NY or sent my information into her. Her fees are fair for the excellence in the work done. Anyone contemplating using SJ Associates will not go wrong.
