RED FLAG 🚩I would avoid this at all cost if I was you. You’ve been warned. This company loves to try to charge you for scratches and damages that preexist on these vehicles, even when you have photo proof showing otherwise. Another friend reports to me his extreme difficulties and frustration in dealing with this company, and others have said they’ve been extorted and had similar experiences. I'm giving Sixt 2 stars because everyone on the ground was great, but everyone on the phone was awful. Day 2 of a 4 day rental, the car won't start. Roadside assistance says their "policy" is to send someone to jump it before replacing the vehicle. I'm not going to just drive away in a car that had a battery die for no reason, so I called customer support and told them I'm bringing the car back as soon as it gets running. I rented a BMW 2 series and was upgraded to a 3 series free of charge as there were no 2 series available. Pick up was pretty easy although it was nerve wracking since the app was not working properly to document damages, and the car had significant scratches. I took photos to document them and notified them at drop off and was told that they may reach out to submit photos and sure enough they did. Google maps GPS lady brought me on the opposite side of car rental return at front entrance if you are on foot. If you go just a little ahead there is another entrance in the back if you keep turning right. It opens 7am but the personnel to check my car back in was there inside a little lit up exit booth(to stay warm). The shuttle was waiting and warm inside. For anyone new, Sixt car rental return is offsite, exactly where you picked up your car. Ask how to return. Shuttle only takes you to where all other Company's car rent... read more
