We just came back from Sixt Newport Beach because our car we rented out in LA had a technical problem. we were unable to steer the car anymore. Luckely this did not occur on the highwar. But we got a new car without any discussions. Andrew did a very good job, he is really a win for Sixt. Good luck for him. Chris & Rebecca

Until today renting with sixt always was flawless : US, Europe, asia. And now this location. Not having a car of a certain class is ok. But why you Dont call customer and let me know about it !? Reservation was made for a week so it was plenty of time to notify me. That type of customer service is ok for for other car rental , but for sixt .. very disappointing.

The hotel is fine, my rating is based more on value. With the mandatory daily resort fee AND parking you are out $100/day already on top of whatever you pay for the hotel. The city of Newport I'm sure is in on this with very restricted parking. Parking lot is not well kept, lots of faded signs and electrical wiring that is potentially hazardous as well as several storage containers with old furniture just out in plain view. I played bass for a benefit concert called High Hopes that featured Eric Marienthal, David Benoit & Niki Harris and it was a beautiful, gorgeous evening of music for a good cause: to aid survivors of head injuries with rehab, medical expenses and recovery. It is out on once a year at the Hyatt Newporter and it's always a beautiful thing. Come next year!!
