SIXT rent a car is a terrible company and handled by break-in issue with legal jargon with absolutely no regard to the circumstances or customer satisfaction. After 1.5 months with NO RESPONSE and continued payment letters, they basically told me to go pound sand and took no responsibility of properly informing their customers of the crime rate and necessity to purchase additional coverage on the vehicle. The LAX office I called said I could return my rental here. The office worker was surprised, but took the keys and assured me he would get it all taken care of; he’d sort it out with LAX. Taken care of I guess means the vehicle turned in 27 hours later with damages. I’m now being charged for all of it.
