Was extremely hesitant (terrified 🫠) to book with any rental place in Houston because no spot had great reviews. I picked this company because I had a good experience in California with them and figured I’d give it a shot again. I rented on a Wednesday morning versus a crazy busy weekend so maybe the experience is different during busy hours, not sure. The entire transaction from pick up to drop off was easy. They left me hanging with no car!!. I’ve rented from them before and had no issues until recently. I tried to pay with my husband’s credit card and the manager was so picky saying I had to pay with mine (which wasn’t going through since I was out of state) and left me with no car. Apparently they changed the rules about paying with someone else’s cc. My husband called on speaker to confirm the payment, and the manager still said no. UAira at the Royal Sonesta was fantastic! I rented a car from this location in June and I have no complaints and only compliments for this team. They were kind, courteous and thorough. My car was perfect! I drove it to Florida and back with no problems whatsoever. I have used many Sixt locations within the US and also here in Houston. When renting in Houston, this location will be first on my list. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
