Be aware that this SIXT location only rents vehicles to guests staying at the Four Seasons Resort. Unfortunately, this restriction was not clearly disclosed online, so I walked about 1.6 km to the location only to be turned away. I understand if this is the hotel’s policy, but it should be clearly stated on the website and Google Maps listing to avoid wasting customers’ time. I hope SIXT updates the location information so future visitors know about this before making the trip.

As a hotel guest, renting from SIXT at Four Seasons was great. Initially I was severely put off by the online prices and the poor Google reviews, but physically going to the desk as a guest, it was a really easy process and significantly cheaper than online. Reservation took 5 minutes, I checked in online with my details, hire care was quickly fetched for me by hotel valet and similarly, I dropped off the same evening again to the hotel valet. I was close by and needed to change secondary drivers. They took care of it and had me in and out in about a minute.

I had a rental car reservation for $400, 10 days, I arrive to the counter and they tell me the insurance will be $650 on top of the $400. So I walked away, a real bait and switch.
