Do not use this rental service. I rented a non refundable car through Expedia and due to weather related issues I had 3 flight cancelled and therefore no longer needed. I had to send multiple documents to them showing the weather related cancellations. After 24hrs of back and forth they denied my refund because they are money hungry and can’t afford to refund $162. I will advise against renting from Sixt. After returning the car in DCA, got a $685 bill for some mirror scratch. There was a guy at the drop off and he basically said to leave the car keys and leave. Renting from others like AVIS and Herzt from 30+ years, never this issue. If you are renting, pl take photos of the car before and after drop off.
My first experience renting with SIXT. At first, getting the rental was pretty smooth, they wanted to add on certain things to upgrade the car. But I just needed it for transportation until my car was finished being fix from the collision shop. Upon receiving the rental (hyundai elantra) it had already had prior damages (dents, scratches) on the driver and passenger side. So I figured wow this is a first from a rental company.
